VMhosts is now 11 years old! We have our origins in high performance computing. Way back before VMhosts was formed and even before Cloud Computing was available, our founder, Michael, was working in the technology sector and identified a niche opportunity. He started thinking about virtualisation, and how it could be used to save clients thousands in hardware costs and maintenance, by renting computing capacity in virtual machines. Using high-performance infrastructure located in secure datacentres, customers were able to enjoy all the benefits of the latest, highest-performing technology in a cost-effective package. Immediately recognising the huge growth potential and having a vision exceeding that of his current company, Michael branched out on his own and VMhosts was born in July 2010. From the start, VMhosts was self-funded and grew without any loans or borrowing. This spirit of independence continues in our attitude of customer service – we don’t operate like other providers. We take personal responsibility for our work and our customers, with a dedicated team on hand to offer support, advice and guidance.
