The BGB solution covers the UK and US; originally the UK network was based over two sites and comprised fibre switches, HPE GL360 Hyper V Hosts and HPE StoreVirtual 4330 Clustered SAN units. The US network in Virginia comprised fibre switches, HP DL380 servers and Barracuda 290 back-up servers. BGB is now migrating its infrastructure to the VMhosts hosted environment. Users have reported significant reductions in latency since the migration has begun.
VMhosts also worked with external electrical contractors to expand wi-fi internet access across the UK sites.
