On Wednesday 13trh May, Nick attended the MSP Show and it was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and spend time talking directly with vendors, partners, and others across the managed services industry.
Events like this are always valuable, not just because of the technology on display, but because they provide a real snapshot of where the industry is heading. In an industry that moves as quickly as IT AI and Cyber-Security, staying connected with vendors and understanding their direction is essential. It helps ensure we continue making the right decisions for our customers and delivering services that genuinely add value.
One of the biggest benefits of attending the show was being able to have open conversations with contacts face-to-face. Whether discussing automation, AI, cloud infrastructure, or the future of Microsoft services, it was useful to hear from the people developing and supporting the products we work with every day and hear what challenges they come across and how they handle them. These conversations often provide far more insight than webinars or online announcements ever can.
There was also a noticeable focus across the event on operational efficiency and security. Many vendors are continuing to invest heavily in automation, proactive monitoring and AI-driven tooling to help MSPs deliver better outcomes while managing increasing complexity.
For us at VMhosts, attending events like the MSP Show is part of making sure we keep a finger on the pulse of the industry. Technology changes quickly, and customer expectations change with it. By staying engaged with vendors and the wider MSP community, we can continue evaluating new solutions, refining our services, and ensuring we are delivering modern, effective support to our clients.
Nick also saw a pink elephant and KITT which was a surprise to say the least!
